MY TRIBUTE TO MARRIAGE

Marriage; so many are terrified of you.
Many are in you but few are truly willing.
You are not something to be taken for granted as a lot of mortals rush into you and rush right out of you.

Marriage, you are a blessing from God.
The evidence of a genuine union from God.
The decision of a man and woman leaving their respective families to form a union;
but many have abused you

You have become friendship that could be jumped in and out without even remorse.

The irresponsibility of husbands in the family, couples desecrating your marital vows has become the order of the day and couples no longer profess their love to each other.
They live like cat and dogs, as wives see their selves as equal to their husbands and being disrespectful.

How do the coming generation adapt to these? How do they see their selves in their marital homes? How do they dream of becoming husbands and wives in the future?

It has become a thing of major concern in the society. Nevertheless all hope not lost. Whether you and I like it or not, you have crossed each of our minds.

We all want to get married someday, to be called husbands and wives, fathers and mothers. It is time to face the truth and to face reality.

A man that has set his mind to keep a woman is surely a keeper and vice versa, a husband that wants a wife will have her and vice versa, a man that wants to respect and not have extra marital affairs will not and vice versa, a man that wants to adore and love his wife unconditionally will and vice versa.

Every single thing in life is about goals, a mindset of training and determination. It is time we stop being pessimistic about you and embrace the fact that you are a gift from God. You are something every individual can go into with the right mind set.

Marriage is not just about love for if it was , then a lot of people wouldn't have stayed as a couple. Prayers, friendship, patience and understanding keeps marriage; the love is just a plus.

Do not look at it as Mr. A is like this and so all men are like that or Mrs. S is doing this so all women will do it. We are all made individually in our respective uniqueness and it is why God made us all differently. Even identical twins do not have the same fingerprints. God is no fool. Believe you are different in your own unique way and your case will be different then work towards achieving it and that will be all you will ever do.
