Richard Mofe-Damijo, Popularly known as RMD is a re known Nigeria famous actor, he embarked into the Nolly wood industry in the late 1990s .The star celebrity is known for playing major role in movies and drama series.he has featured in dozen of films. RMD crown his effort by the numbers of awards he had won in the past and recent time,including the 2005 Africa Movie Academy for best Actor in a leading Role, as well as a life time Achievement Award.
RMD was born on July 6 1961,in the community of Udu Kingdom, Delta State.he attended the Midwest college in Warri and further ahead to Anglican Grammar School where he was a member of the drama club. He gained admission into the University of Benin to study Theater Arts,also he Pursue a degree in Law at the university of lagos in 1997 and Graduated in 2004 Rapped up with two degree from different branches.
Richard took a break from Nollywood from 2007 to 2013 to concentrate on politics,this was after he was appointed the commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State.
He is also a proud father of Five,and a Grand Father as well.
According to the veteran actor ,his Family is the Most Precious of all the Gifts of his life.
